Thanksgiving. What are you all up to? Have plans?
Laurie and I are headed to Salt Lake to see my parents. We are going to drive. There is no way I can spend 14 hours in my wife's car (Scion IQ) and I am kind of leery of trusting my car for that long of a trip (175,000 miles or so). It's 800 miles each way, so it's not like a quick trip to Seattle and back. The AAA membership I have is only good for 200 miles of towing. So, we rented a Chrysler 200. I originally had a Dodge Avenger reserved, but they were out, so we got the Chrysler instead. Just running around town today, it's not a bad car. It had tons of room and is not uncomfortable. Should be a good car for the trip. We are taking off early tomorrow morning and coming back to the Portland area Saturday.
