The blocks are needed for clearance, the R A T post didn't mention that, perhaps 'cause the example was on a standard Bonnie. I added a 1x1 fence on top of the blocks, so they can't slip/slide out as well. I forgot to mention that letting the bike rest, layed over for a period will help more engine oil migrate to the right side and oil loss is even less.
