Hang your bike from a hoist, instead of on a stand, put 2 inches of wood blocking under each tire (Fr.&Rr.) and lay your bike over to the right side by lowering the hoist. You only drip out roughly a 1/4 cup of oil with a full engine at the most, the wavy washer and the gasket stay in place better and the whole job is way easier, IMO. Saw this on R A T a long time ago, used this trick twice, now, I wouldn't want to do it any other way.
