i really have always enjoyed turning wrenches, but i was the smart kid and my dad hated turning wrenches so he did as little as possible mechanically and no vocational classes in high school. and its always been i need the car running right this second for work and stuff so before the bike i really had no way to turn wrenches. i think with this bike my goal is to do all the work myself and not take it to mechanic unless absolutely neccessary. may mean a little less ride time and maybe not always the prettiest bike but it will be mine alone and not a store bought bike.
