And so point is, "it's their money", that is IF "they" have it and aren't "going into hock" to purchase whatever it is they want to purchase. And not only that, but yes, in many cases higher priced commodities ARE of superior quality.
(...well EXCEPT for Harley-Davidsons, of course)
Nah, I ain't going for your argument. Pants you wear to cover your a$$, shoes for your feet to make walking easier, and water as a neccesity of life are not to be compared to a mostly "luxury" form of transportation. (Although a motorcycle can be seen as being a practical way to save fuel.) All the above are pure excess in a culture that can take the most mundane of things and turn it into hyperbolic extravagence.
