Yep there are reusable cups, last time we had one it found its way into the garbage dispossal, end of that story.

We tried one of the hot chocolates, (can't remember the brand) but it SUCKED! However if you buy the little packs or what-have-you, just put some in a mug place it under the maching leave out the filter and brew. (BTW you can set the temp) Works great for this, instant hot water. Works great for hot tea also.

However I actually prefer my hot chocolate made on the stove top with milk.
