Ummmm...no Chet. I don't think Jim is implying that his motorcycle is some sort of mechanical "Benjamin Button" here, ol' buddy.

The odometer will look new. And by then I may have replaced the clutch.

Put another 1500 on her, detail her, change the oil and sell her. You know "she has just been sitting in the garage".

Geez! I'm starting to turn into a used car salesman.

Funny thing is she has sat in the garage for extended periods of time. One time from June 29, 2009 to January 18, 2010. Her last oil change was October 8, 2012. And that was after 15 months with only 4,563 miles on that oil. Cinnamon Girl had a lot to do with that. And as of this past April 4th, so has Prudence.

Required
Headset bearings. Rear wheel (and carrier hub) bearings. One ignition coil. Clutch cable. One spoke nipple on the rear wheel. Had to rebuild the front brake caliper. Replaced a leaky front brake reservoir diaphragm. Replaced the intake manifold o-rings.

Discretionary
Carb to manifold rubbers. Relay holders. Replaced oem squirrel condoms with oem ones. Cush drive rubbers (due to oem slop).

Man, I better get busy if I'm going to catch you

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

Btw Jim, I forgot to add earlier how great it is that we have Vera Lynn as a sort of "rolling testbed" to the longevity of these machines.

No need to worry Larry, just wait a couple of weeks for Moe to clock her then he'll be needing to catch you up

We don't have Triumph themed cafés though! St. Louis is a beautiful city for sure. Now who is the lucky one?

Almost embarrassed to say, 95037! She'll be on her side stand in the next day or two. Or not as I really should rebuild Cinnamon Girl's front caliper before I take her out again. Prudence is also biting at the bit.
