This is the day before my scheduled Colonoscopy, so now I'm on a clear liquid diet for the remainder of the day, along with what is soon to be a flushing process that will keep me very close to the facilities. Just thought I would pass on this information on this fine day! Don't forget to Vote!

Been there, done that.... Make sure the doctor washes the probe between procedures. Don't laugh link Colonoscopy followed up by aids and hepatitis testing. Luckily all negative.

There's nothing to the colonoscopy, especially is your Doc is generous with the Versed.
It's the day before that sucks.
I'm late for my second one. They found a benign 'spot' and suggested I come back in 3 years.
It's hard to get excited to go back. To makes things a little weirder, my GI Doc lifts weights with me.

Since they found a booger on mine I'm supposed to be every 3 years but I haven't been good about it.

Yup!! met that Dr.  There were a few tence weeks there from announcement to receiving results. Now we have to take a course in Autoclave inspecting before we say auugh.

Go to it Chet, cancer starts out as polyps and "spots". I get scoped every year due to high risk factors, had a foot of colon removed about six years ago due to a "benign spot". Doc says they caught it before it turned to cancer. And that was after a clean result only a year earlier.

just got this in an email ,thought i'd pass it on to you all .  After experiencing the discomfort and embarrassment of a colonoscopy in Michigan, I decided to have my next one carried out while visiting a friend in San Francisco, where the beautiful nurses are allegedly much more gentle and accommodating. As I lay naked on my side on the table, the gorgeous nurse began my procedure. "Don't worry, at this stage of the procedure it's quite normal to get an erection," the nurse told me. "I haven't got an erection," I replied. "No, but I have," replied the nurse. Don't get a colonoscopy in San Francisco
