Since they found a booger on mine I'm supposed to be every 3 years but I haven't been good about it.
Go to it Chet, cancer starts out as polyps and "spots". I get scoped every year due to high risk factors, had a foot of colon removed about six years ago due to a "benign spot". Doc says they caught it before it turned to cancer. And that was after a clean result only a year earlier.
