Btw, which part of "Joisey" do ya reside? I ask 'cause my wife and I were in southern NJ a few weeks back for a wedding of one of her kin in the Glassboro/Williamstown area. Word is all of her family back there who live around the Philly suburb areas made out reasonably okay after Sandy hit. So, I guess it sounds as if the closer one lived near the Atlantic coast, the more likely they were to have major damage to their property, right?!



We're in the northwest corner, about a half hour from PA and NY. We like to call it God's Country, or as close to God's Country as you can find in NJ. The best riding in NJ is a stone's throw from our driveway.

The NJ shore obviously got hit the hardest, but we took a beating because of the high wind taking down big trees around power lines, into homes & cars, etc. My Mom lives only a half hour west of the shore, and never lost power or phone service. Go figure!
