And in SoCal there's Angeles Crest Hwy (CA Hwy 2) in the San Gabriel Mountains,(CA Hwy 2), and Mulholland Hwy in the Santa Monica Mountains. In north-central Arizona there's White Spar Pass(AZ Hwy 89) and Mingus Mountain Hwy(just part of AZ Hwy 89A).
All of the above I've ridden "spiritedly" upon occasion(as anyone who has attended any of the SWTF rallies can testify about my "spirited" riding on the AZ roads

), AND which have these kind of photographers occasionally stationed at various twists in these VERY technical roads.
Point being, besides the point that there ARE "fun" roads like the Tail of the Dragon all OVER this country and the world, IS that EVEN when I'm riding "spiritedly", I try NEVER to go over "7/10th" of my and my bikes total capabilities while on a public road, because as the Corvette driver pretty much stated in his text, you never know what's around that next bend on a public road that is just waiting to bite you in the ass.
Yep, 8-10 tenths should be STRICTLY the domain of track days at some local closed-course facility.
(...of course all this DOESN'T mean that all those freakin' slow as hell HARLEY riders who ARE probably riding at 7 tenths of THEIR and their BIKE'S capabilities shouldn't STILL move the hell over to the right in the twisties when I come up behind 'em so I can pass their slow freakin' butts in a reasonably safe manner!!!!)
