If a woman you've never met before approaches you and punches you in the mouth that will be my wife. I'm saying this because after seeing these pictures I am completely obsessed with this ride and as such her dream trip to France may have to be altered. So glad you actually did it and thanks for sharing what mustve been an incredible experience. PS I am leaning towards the BSA or the Norton.

From the time I started planning this I billed it as Claire's birthday trip. I went out of my way to make it hassle-free and fun all the way. We rented an apartment rather than a hotel. We did low-key sight seeing and long walks along the seine. We had dinner in michelin star restaurants and, on her birthday we had dinner at the Ciel de Paris with a view of the Eiffel Tower.

We both had a spectacular time - she just went home a couple of days early.

If your partner is comfortable as a passenger I would strongly recommend having her along on the rides. We stopped frequently and the social aspect of the tour was great.

After Claire left and the tour was over I drove over to see the Millau Viaduct Bridge. I enjoyed it but I'm pretty sure she didn't mind missing this either.
