Just got done watching it live online. It was pretty darn amazing. The jump lasted less time than I imagined it would. Looks like the only record he didnt break was for the longest freefall, he missed it by about 13 seconds.

When you think what we know now with the technology we have, it makes Capt Joe Kittengers feats of over 50 years ago, all the more impressive. He was literally jumping into the unknown!

Same here, no TV (just try watching any asian channel and you'll know why, huge culture gap there!),

For a second, while reading the title, the only thing in my mind was "Lost in Space" ! and thinking... "we finally did it!"...
Waaaaaayyyyy too soon of course, but it was a funny feeling!
