Sounds like (Plastidip) a pseudonym for a not so bright Teenybopper?

gib, rough it up really well with scotch-brite first. if you've got the connections, have it blasted and powder coated. man, sometimes i really miss working at a powder coating shop. then again, purple boogers every day is gross.

The powder coaters might not be able to remove the chrome, they usually shot blast it to rough up the surface to receive the powder coating.
Had mine done. Looks

I first heard about it on a car forum. It's the latest rage, all the cool kids are doing it.

From what I understand, its very durable, but you can peel it all off if you ever want to. Some guys are doing entire cars with it.

So, it's a removable paint job, at least that's what got from the link. Kinda a spray on, you pick the color, condom in a aerosol can. I would have to see some examples in person, before I spent any money.

Then you get some dips**t peel it off your motor / bike while it's parked up.
The whole point about it being easy to remove when masking it off etc means it's easy to peel off when you DON'T want it done, surely?
