But decided not to. Instead, whattf is up with your bike? It never needs chain lube and doesn't rust when wet, and you can get ungodly mileage out of tires that are certifiable crap, and with 23K on a front tire you never once got any weird handling? I want me on of them thar bikes! 
The last maybe 1,000 miles or so I started to feel the front tire a little but not really enough to say anything about, could still let go of the handle bars. I wash and wax my bike only thing I don't do is clean or lube my chain and I feel that lube actually promotes wear on the X ring chain as abrasive dirt would stick to it. Part of the answer is I have also ridden hardtail choppers most of my life and don't worry or whine about the little stuff, if it starts and goes I'm happy. I ran that front Lazertech until it was almost smooth and in the past have had my friends make me change tire because the nylon was showing through.I don't sweat much.
