Well, I also much prefer buying quality over quantity.
I have bought North Face stuff (back in the days when they used to make good stuff... I have a sweater that is 15 years old that still looks and feels great!), later switched to Mountain Hardware, then Arteryx... (I used to be a mountain guy... and a manager of an outdoor shop!
The only Nike product I have is a 25-year-old pair of cycling shoes (they used to have a series of really good cycling shoes) that I still wear!
I HATE stuff that I have to throw away early because it failed....
I also have a Kawasaki shirt.... but it was given to me by the store I bought my first bike (a Ninja 650R) then exchanged for my Triumph!
