Dwight, it was 1975 I bought the GL1000 naked Gold Wing. What a powerful beast it was! It only took Honda a year to talk with Vetter than another year for distribution.
Triumph appears to have decided touring is not for them as a factory operation. They are losing customers IMHO>

when a company starts making a bagger looking like this with the power its comes out of the box with, Triumph is behind the power curve to be sure.
