Well, if we REALLY wanna talk about how(I feel) Triumph has "dragged their feet" in regard to "off-shoot" models they've (once again, I've felt) "missed the boat" bringing to market, we COULD I suppose add this non-existent T-Bird "Bagger" to a list which would include a "Honda Gold Wing/BMW LT-esque Rocket3 long-distance Touring rig, ALONG with that never to be made larger-displacement and FACTORY MADE Bonneville series models.
So now that's THREE on MY list at present count!
(...hey, but then again, it ONLY took about 4 or 5 years for HONDA to FINALLY learn that people were spending BIG bucks on Vetter Windjammer AFTER-MARKET fairings to put on their GS1000 models back in the late '70s and before they FINALLY brought to market the GOLD WING...and so MAYBE there IS still hope for Mr. Bloor's boys to figure THIS kinda thing out...eventually!)
I have agree..if you go over to the Rocket forum..and look at the pic of the riders adding all this stuff to there bikes Triumph needs to step up or I can see many rider's moving on...maybe even me....
