What effects does this have on the performance? I have a 2004 Speedmaster and have unplugged mine. The exhaust popping has nearly stopped. It does seem to take longer to warm up than it did before. Are there any long term effects, good or bad? If figure the TPS is there for a reason. Maybe just for emissions, I don't know.
