I respectfully suggest you pay a pro to do it this time, & continue to build your skills with things like oil changes, chain adjustment, & plug changes first.
It's easy for Ryk. Maybe not so much for you, at this point.
+1, not a first project to try and tackle. I had mine open the other day, and almost didn't notice the starter gear had moved out of position. Had I put the cover back on, it could have been catastrophic. All turned out well though, and my leaky breather tube got fixed. Lots of work to replace a single O-ring.
Only four bolts to go now.
