+1. You know we like to rib the Hardly stuff. Most of the good fella's on here would worry about a member on here joining a 1% club. It could be you're right about them. I personally wouldn't take the chance. But good luck to ya.

I was just yanking your chain, thus the smiley after my post. I do agree that you better think long and hard before you commit. Like I said I know quite a few 1%ers and most regret it in time and want to fade out of sight. Some of the old guys that can just sit back and watch the young ones do stupid crap stay with it.Grew up with a few guys that are now Pagans, have a couple HA friends and a couple Breed friends. The one HA friend would crack you up he is a short stereotypical biker, short stocky always unshaven, chews a stub of a cigar most of the time and covered in tattoos. He makes cheese cakes for a living! Even has a couple patented flavors. He sells them to fancy restaurants , if those rich people only knew who just made their desert! As for the rocket , if I had the problems you described I would probably trade it too but for another Triumph.
I learned all I need to know about life by killing smart people and eating their brains. Eat right ,Exercise ,Stay fit, Die Anyway!

The world would be MUCH better place IF ONLY more people on this freakin' planet would just adhere to Groucho Marx's famous pronouncement..."I refuse to join any club that would accept me as a member!"
Ah, Dwight, we're really going to miss you!

Well Mark, this isn't exactly a "club" around here, ya know.
(...I mean it's not as if we sport spiffy little vests with spiffy little "colors" on 'em, ya know)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

I still have my America it's got 60,000 miles on it Ive got a 06 scrambler and I sold the rocket for the road glide I hate victorys I worked in a motorcycle shop and hated working on them I don't like the way they run or handle if I would of known the response I would have got from this post I wouldn't of posted I love my new bike it rides better then my rocket ever did I can actually see out of the mirrors clearly on the road glide gets better mileage And is more stable at high speeds than the rocket
Yea, i hate how the Victory has all that pesky HP and Torque, and how the bike will lean WAY over in the turns... (scary) and how i have to wait for my buds with their HDs to catch up,(I just play around when i get to the straight a ways) and now when i change my oil i only get to use 1 oil and its all done...1 hole 1 oil.. now i have all this free time....what to do.. what to do. Oh well i guess ill just ride

Indeed.
So when you say you hated working on a Victory, you hated changing oil, the air filter and tires? Because that's pretty much all a Vic needs. Other than fork oil at 15,000 miles. They're bullet proof and just don't break.
Yalls know I'm already with Milo on the Victory thing.

I cant for the life of me figure out why a grown man would get involved with clubs like that... I grew up around some of that chit. Started hanging around biker bars when i was 15, didnt take long for me to figure out that was gonna lead down a bad road for me, ended up on some other bad roads anyway but...(whole other story)...Most every one i ever knew was a high end douche bag who had no respect for anyone. To me, some of those clubs are no better than the low life street gangs that are out there, they pretend they are, but there not. I dont know the bunch your hangin with and maybe things have changed and im way off base, ive been known to be wrong before... But if you roll on down that road, hopefully you stay out of jail and live long enough to see your kids grow up.... good luck..

Go ahead and ride the Harley, Damien. That way Donny won't feel like such a social outcast on his Dyna Glide Sport.

Yeah I know, last time mine bought a new house in a sub-division, I wanted 30+ acres and a log cabin. Oh well, at least I'm on a 8 acre lake and gaining equity and not in city limits.
