That was my understanding as well given the history that Paul England afforded me when we discussed me taking it over and especially when I was doing up the new website.

I just thought I would ask. Without stating who, one of the dealerships believed it was a shop run event, not a rider run event and made all these false claims about their past involvement. This came up because the early bird wave of sponsorship fees are due at the end of this month and when I sent out the reminder, one shop bit back. I left it with them stating our only concern is if they would like to continue to be a paid sponsor or not and to let me know when they make that decision so I can make adjustments if need be.

I was pre-warned so I was expecting it...just didn't think someone would think I was completely unaware of how Paul has run it for the past several years.

As always, this will remain a rider run event. I will continue to keep you guys in the loop and ask for suggestions. We are in this together, I am just steering the ship!

On another note, the newest issue of the national motorcycle magazine, Inside Motorcycles is out in stores - Chapters and Indigo. This year they are running their She Rides column by featuring strong women in the motorcycle community. They asked if I would be willing to help them kick it off. Everything I am involved in from forming M.O.D.E.L. Edmonton and B.O.G. Standards to volunteer writing to promote the CMDRA and as an emcee for a weekly charity bike night to taking over the Kootenay Rat Raid is mentioned! Pretty exciting for little me!

Any day on my bike is the best day ever! That would be my custom painted 2007 Speedmaster or my 2002 Daytona 955i also known as my salt racing bike!
