Yeah, there is a correlation but ALS is not like Parkinson's. They haven't really established a definite correlation. Besides, there aren't THAT many cases of ALS to skew the the numbers that much. I believe that 27 former player have be diagnosed, and that's a bunch, but more than that have committed suicide due to depression, which does have a direct correlation to head trauma.
Bottom line is, NFL is not good for you.
