I can totally understand his stance on 'enough is enough', sometimes you just have to say screw it I'm done. I think it sucks that they can say he didn't win those Tours, but we all know he did. If he was cheating, which there is no proof of, all he did was beat a bunch of other cheaters then, because cycling is the dirtiest sport on earth. USADA apparently has WAY too much power if they can strip his Olympic medal as well. If I were him, they would have a hard time getting that back from me, along with any prize money they say must be paid back from winning those events. I think the whole thing sucks, Lance is right that it was an unconstitutional witch hunt, and in my mind he still won. Haters be hatin, and that's what he's dealing with.
