I had to work the late shift yesterday. The forecast said 40% chance of rain and that, combined with the Friday night drunks sneaking the back way home to their dry counties in TX made me decide not to ride to work. So, when I got out at 11:00 last night, there was a thunder storm some 10 miles to the SE, a clear sky above and, when I looked up, mother nature was mooning me! 
Let's hope there's intelligent life somewhere in space 'cause it's buggar all down here. -- Monte Python

There still may have been the sneaky drunks out there PLUS a few lunatics with that full moon. So maybe you still made the best decision.

Same thing tonight except for the TX drunks, 'cause the local bars are closed today. So, when I went out to ride home, I mooned back.

Texas is a strange place. Some counties are "dry" with the sale of all drinking alcohol prohibited, "damp" counties allow low grade beer and wine only, and there are some "wet" counties that allow anything that BATF allows. It was weird when I was stationed at Ft Hood. The local area was dry. A few miles east, you could get 3.2% beer. A few miles south, you could get anything you want.
