I know others differ, but I can't imagine one single valid reason why I should or would want to carry a gun, concealed or otherwise. I do however have a 12ga speed pump at home which I purchased for home protection just after Hurricane Andrew. All I have ever used it for was to shoot a bobcat that was eating my chickens.
