That IS pretty cool and looks like it would be a lot of fun! I went looking on yt for a video and found one. Although the quality is poor you can get an idea of how it works.

Keith...that was a neat video...thanks. Not quite the "speeder" made famous in Star Wars (optical effects) tho....but this IS an early prototype.....

Many many moons ago my Dad got the idea to build a personal hover craft as the plans were in Poplar Mechanics at the time as I recall.....it used a Briggs & Stratton 3 or 5 hp lawnmower engine & was controll by shifting one's body weight in the desired direction of travel....
