Man, this thread sounds almost like a RIP.... condolences and all and I can't help but add my "so sorry to hear" story.... Like Dwight, I managed to get my boot between the bike and the ground so no damage.
If the insurance is paying for the new parts, get the optional painted tank. Probably cheaper.
Has anyone "NOT" dropped their bike?
