Just cut a boilerplate for over the fuel pump opening, buy the fuel pump gasket for your plate templet and mounting holes location. then drill your petcock holes and install. I have a pristine '09 Thrux tank intended for just such a future project involving a carbed bike, myself. Not too scary. I kinda like an access to inside the tank.
