There is no right or wrong answer here.
I have long guns and hand held canons.
My kids are grown, but now my wife suffers from depression. Accidents can happen.
Christians would probably say "Whatever happens, it's Gods plan" . I'd say the gun safe would be MY choice, along with education.
But the only way to eliminate the chance of an accident would be to skip it for now.
