I ride with two buddies, one has a 2007 Sporty 1200, the other an 883. Most of our riding is mountain roads with lots of twisties...no matter how we start out I always end up in front, usually slowing down to let them catch up. With that said, ride what you think is good for you. One of my favorite bikes I owned was a Suzuki S50, 800cc V twin..no vibration, drive shaft and cornered like the devil but I could not live with the way it looked.
