So I just installed D&D Boss Slip Ons on my 03 Speedmaster (about 4.5k miles on the bike). I haven't rejetted yet because I'm waiting for the airbox elimination kit to do all that. Rest of the intake/carb/exhaust system is straight stock. I did up the idle to richen it up a tad.
But I took it for a quick 2 mile test ride anyway to hear how it sounded. I expected some popping on decel, which I got. But when I got back and turned her off there was a steady stream of white/gray smoke coming out of the right pipe. This went on for a good five minutes.
Naturally, this has me quite worried. I'm hoping it's just some silicone sealer that got inside the head, factory coating... or something? Please tell me I didn't mess something up by not rejetting before riding.
