Haven't listened to them in a long while, but each time I do, I get the same feeling. It feels like coming home. Listening to "Nowadays Clancy Can't Even Sing" on my new laptop speakers makes me feel like I'll never need to listen to another song. Wow.

There stuff might be judged as communist by some, but I love the music. Pros all the way.

Am I alone in this feeling?

Byrds + Buffalo Springfield + Hollies = CSN&Y and the list goes on and on. HIPPY MUSIC!

I have seen CSN and CSN&Y on several occasions. I prefer the later, because it is always good to have S and Y together on guitar. Always.

Never seen them without Neil Young, just don't seem right. Seen Young many times with Crazy Horse. In the "old days", when concert tickets cost $12, Linda Ronstadt would open, then Young would come out, do his acoustical set with her singing backup, then Young, Linda and Crazy Horse would come out, go full bore electric and all Hell would break loose. Good times, good times.

That's my favorite, an equivalent CSN might be Suite: Judy Blue Eyes.

can be heard on his version of Dylan's; Ballad
of Hollis Brown. gives me chicken dance skin.

I do love a good youtube, f you work, type of thread. Here is a premium example of the chemistry that Stills, Young, and really, Crosby have on the guitar. Also one of my favorite songs, that is always on my riding playlists.

Good song, great album, the video reminds us that they actually once had chins and more hair.

For some reason this video won't load. Maybe because I'm in Oz.

Anyway can you tell me the title so I can find it elsewhere. Thanks.

I got to see , from a long way back , Crosby Stills and Nash at the Fremantle Blues and Rooots Festival in Feb this year and they were great. Some of their songs are just timeless and transported me back to a time when life was a lot more simpler than it is today.
Neil Young I saw at the Big Day out 3 years ago and after enduring the crowds of people really got to get up close and loved it.

Obviously not judging from the response, and nope coming from me. Although pretty conservative for the most part these days, my youthful years were spent in the '60's and the spirit of the times along with the tunes that chronicled those times have always maintained a chuck of my soul.

Music from that era constitutes the American History my kids grew up on, and I am so happy to say that they "get it".

And from that, we understand each other, and relate well on many other subjects, topics, views...

Music back then was in such a good place.....
