MIA lately but thanks for the props. Mine was pretty simple. Push button switch from RadioShack and then wired to the garage door remote. I had an extra remote that I removed from the plastic case (to reduce size under the seat. I soldered the wires from the push button switch to the contact points on the circuit board of the remote. Packaged the remote up in a ziplock to reduce the chance of moisture exposure. The remote sits under the seat and back by the fender. The range seems limited by being under the seat but works from at least 25 feet away.
