I used to carry a little 2 gal. heavy plastic gerry can where I lived in southern UT. It was 50 miles to the nearest premium "leaded" pump. If I remember correctly most of the older Triumphs (new Triumphs then) recommended high test. It came loose somewhere along state highway 211 in July 1980 if anyone's looking.
The camp stove bottle idea is a good one. As Grump said, if nothing else it could help out a stranded biker.
