Just sittin around thinkin... So, what in Hades happened to Mark Hammill's career? He was the central star in three of the biggest movies ever made. I know his acting gets criticized, but I thought it was ok. (Then again, what do I know about acting?) It's been a few years ago, but I saw him in a really horrible "B" movie with Jimmy Walker ("Dynomite!", and he actually said that in the movie), Can't remember the name. Three guys bumping around in rubber dinosaur suits. Seriously.Did he just have a really CRAPPY agent? Did he do even one thing memorable since?

He does a lot of voice acting for cartoons and such. He never really disappeared, you just don't see his face anymore.

I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago. Edgar Allan Poe

I believe he was in some sort of horrific accident that put his career on hold for some time and left him with facial scarring.

Yep, and so after readin' his Wiki bio, I THINK I know why his movie career never really took off.

Ya see, it appears the guy has been happily married for 33 years now, has three seemingly well adjusted children, has never gotten into the drug scene or abused alcohol, nor has generally made an ass out of himself.

(...and so NATURALLY he never got enough exposure in the press to keep him in the public eye!!!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

#1 No rehab, divorce, abuse, out of wedlock child, caught cruising in restrooms, hasn't even slapped a photographer, no wonder.
