At 8500 miles, my original equipment front tire is pretty much toast. Time to go. I plan to replace it w/ an Avon soon. It seems like since I plan on the Avon lasting more that 8500 miles, changing the front brake pads while the front wheel is off makes pretty good sense. It's hard to imagine the OE brake pads lasting 17,000 miles.
Suggestions? Response? No brainer?
