I'm having enough trouble with my rusted spine without worrying about an Iron Butt... I just thought it would be a good thing to carry a little extra fuel for those trips through the mountains where I have no idea where I am or where I'm going... It would also be a nice thing to have when you come upon someone else who may have run out of gas... the old "good kharma" thing. I enjoy finding roads I've never been on before, and sometimes you can go a loooong way before you find a gas station. I don't want to call the wife on the cel phone and say "Come and bring me some gas, I don't know where I am, but I'm 200 miles away"..
And as for Depends, I prefer the crazy homeless look, it keeps people away...
