Heck, I'll toss 2 fingers out to passing riders in acknowledgement...if their on a decent cruiser. The sport bike types in my neck of the woods don't usually make any effort....probably due to the abnormal rider position or sheer terror alone. I figure it's a form of acknowledgement of mutual respect (even from the HD types).
