Good luck with a bike on Nantucket. 10 years ago I moved to Cape Cod with a 6 month old America. I had to keep it outside for 2 months. The chrome got trashed, especially the headers and front wheel. Since then, its been kept in a garage year round. But due to an accident last fall, I replaced the front wheel. Even in the garage, it is starting to get some surface rust on the chrome.
This climate is just hell on bikes.
