You'll be fine. Since it is a plug once and leave it the pin won't see any use until you pull the Procomm again. Plus you'll be careful when you handle it. And, there's no sideways pressure on the straight pin to further compound any possible weakness...dielectric grease will also lube it so I think you're gold.
I thought through the wasted spark issue and I concluded that Triumph would never use two coils if they could use the same unit already in service in the 360 degree standards. Ergo, no wasted spark for us.
