Are the mounting dimensions of Triumph pegs different enough so that only pegs made for them will fit or will others fit? None of the ones I have seen that say they will fit, I like. Here is some I like, but don't know if they will fit. Foot Pegs

The Harley peg is 7/16" and the width of the Triumph mount is 13/16" I took two pictures so you can see the difference. You are looking at the brake mount

If you like the Harley peg, insert a spacer or washers to take up the slack.

Looks to me like a few washers used as spacers should fix your problem, and not even be noticeable to anyone. Check out Jims "Twisted Brass" shift rod, BAD-ASS! He's got a fuel filter somewhere that's pretty bad-ass as well!
And you may see me tonight

For me Ace Hardware is the place...I will take my stuff there and spend a hour or so in the bolt/nut/spacer section trying different combination of stuff...
