I just went to add some air to my rear tire and found that I can't. Everytime I connect the compressor to the valve it lets air out of the tire but doesnt allow any in. I cleaned it out and the inside isn't loose so I'm not sure what gives. Any advice??

If the valve is otherwise holding pressure, first try another compressor chuck. Same issue?

Just got back from a ride and same thing. It's holding pressure from within but not allowing air from 3 different compressors. Getting low on tire pressure so thinking of just replacing the valve if there isnt a "fixit".

The Schrader valve (core) could be stuck or damaged. Replace it.

When you cleaned the valve do you mean you just cleaned the external section? Or did you pull the valve out of the stem and the tire didn't exhaust the remaining air?
I've had a couple of defective air chucks so that's not an unknown problem.

I just brushed and blew out the interior of the valve. Thought there might be a pebble or something in there. Looks like I'll just replace the core and keep it moving. Truly appreciate the advice Boys.

Even if a new valve does not fix the problem, there are spin on extensions for dually tires, you could add air, remove and cap.

I once had that problem. Seems the tire bead was partially covering the valve stem during my bead seating efforts. A little, well, never mind...
