My wife and I recently moved into the 21st century by buying a small device which provides an interface between our wireless router and our TV which permits us to finally have NetFlix streamed into our home over the intergooglewebnet. One of the programs we've discovered and have become somewhat addicted to lately has been the "Doc Martin" series, a comedy/drama set in the fictional seaside village of Portwenn in Cornwall. The story revolves around a people averse London surgeon who has an onset of homophobia and must realign his medical career to something not involving the sight of blood as often as that of a surgeon, so he applies for a position as the village GP. The stories are engagingly humorous, the scenery is absolutely beautiful, and the characters draw you into their lives. If you haven't yet seen it, I recommend looking for it on NetFlix, if you have that service.
The other night someone used a term my wife didn't recognize, so I had to explain what it means when someone calls another a "tosser."

BBC rocks!
