After using Tom's battery relocation plate and pulling the side covers, I did not have a place to keep my insurance and registration so I came up with this little storage space, using the tube in the spine of the frame. Basic bolt and nut job with plexiglass caps and rubber washers to keep the water out.

Good idea which I think has been on here before. But now that I look at your setup again, I'll think I'll do mine.

That's a great idea! Where did you buy the caps?

@Captn. I used a sheet of plexiglass and drilled them with a hole cutter bit. The bits come in different sizes so used one that just was larger than the hole in the tube. Then cut the rubber to fit the caps for the seal. Then added metal washers the size of the hole in the spine (1" or so I think) to keep the caps centered over the hole. Stays in place nicely.
