No suprise here, I recall a couple years back someone cracked open the carbs for the first time and found a 40 in one carb and 42 in the other.







It may have been correct for that particular engine. We tend to assume both cyclinders are equal. But thats not always the case.




I suppose anything is possible, most likely a knucklehead on the assembly line.
As I recall replacing the one 40 with a 42 to match the other 42 solved the issue.
