Thanks, Soren. How are you spending Father's Day? I think it might be fun to say what you're doing with your day. I'm not sure yet and half the day is over...  I will probably do some framing in my basement. I've been at it for a couple weeks. I'd like to go for a ride and then spend a little time with my kids before I head out tonight play a show..."Oliver". I'm music directing and playing piano. Last night too so that's a relief! Pressured washed the patio  However the crew was here yesterday. First things first I went for a ride. back home around 2:00 where I burned some meat on the grill, we played some wiffle ball, soaked up the sun and basically just socialized.  Pretty dang good day.

I packed up my tent and stuff, loaded the bike up and came home from the Farmyard rally  Daughter finally remembered and sent me a text at 6 p.m.

I just got home from a triple digit ride with my dad, then we stopped and had had BBQ for lunch. Now I have a softball game and then over to my dad's house for more BBQ and swimming. Would be a perfect day if my own kid would bother to call me...

Both girls home today... they (and my wife) took me out to lunch and plied me with various gifts including the requisite ugly tie. Every year they try to get the ugliest tie they can find in hopes I will not wear it to work the following day... each year I swallow my pride and wear it to all the Monday meetings.

Life is good. On a mooring in Catalina. Next month we'll spend two weeks on the motorcycle touring northern California.

Laurie took me to the movies today, finally saw "Dark Shadows". It was ok. Then we went looking at cars. I was hoping the new Dodge Dart was out, but not yet. I did get to drive the Fiat 500 Abarth, the sales guys found a nice little twisty road and all I have to say about that car is, wow! that was fun.

I get ya, Dave. Six kids, and four out of 6 called me. I guess that's better than 50%. But, on a dissapointing note, my middle boy turned down a trip to go see Alice with me tonite. I guess Dad isn't cool enough. Sucks for HIM! (And I might have paid his way)

Helped my son with some legos, bought wife more plants, drug a 20ft dead cedar out of the woods, spent hours cutting it and whittling off dead wood. Plan on making a bench out of it. Then had a nice healthly salad with grilled chicken for dinner.

Took part in a Fathers Day ride out in aid of The Prostate Cancer Charity, raised £1500 and had a good run to boot!! 
I'd rather ride it than clean it!!!!

The oldest came up from Melbourne Thursday, my birthday, for a four day weekend and to cook my favorite meal (Pot Roast) for my b-day dinner.  Yesterday, we all went to my dads around noon, then we all went to our best friends new property and home (Hoping to get the final inspection this week) on Lake Apopka, and shot off a few hundred rounds of ammo. of every caliber imaginable. Unexpectedly, my eldest son saw their eldest daughter for the first time in about seven years, and all he can talk about now is coming back in two weeks to visit with her again. They were best friends growing up as neighbors when children, and there was a noticeable spark between them last night. (He's 25, she's 23)

Spent the day with my daughter and grand kids, she wrote me a very touching card from her heart. She bought me a couple things but the card was great.
I learned all I need to know about life by killing smart people and eating their brains.
Eat right ,Exercise ,Stay fit, Die Anyway!
