I pulled the trigger on one...awaiting delivery. And I was surprised to learn that the bias ply is more expensive than the radial.

Installed today. It only took 7g's weight to balance! So far I am very pleased with this tire. It handles very well, the twitchiness is gone, & to me it looks great. There were no clearance/fitment issues at all. No regrets.

+1 on that. I've been using a 130/70 front for at least the last 30,000 miles. It looks great & I think it handles better in the rain than the stock size.

The one odd thing is that the tire had more whiskers than Billy Gibbons & Dusty Hill combined. It needed a serious shave!

I pulled the trigger on one right before the GA rally. (went from a 110/90) - I have to say, I went through a serious adjustment period, as far as handling differences. It felt VERY different. Now that I'm used to it, I love it - would definitely stay with this size!
...you're gonna feel a little pressure....

I have some miles on this front tire now and find it to be a very neutral handler & IMO far superior to the OEM Lazertec.

Just wondering if this tyre goes on with no mods and secondly what would be the advantage/disadvantage against ME880 110/90 -18 ? In any case want to get rid of Lazertec, which sucks in wet conditions. Considering the local poor conditioned roads, perhaps narrower (the 110) would be better because of the 'tracks' in the road ?

No mods.
The Lazywrec followed every roadway groove & imperfection.
The Marathon tracks straight & shrugs off the grooves/imperfections. I'm glad I went with this tire.
