Yeah that's what happens when you ride 45 minutes in Memorial Day beach traffic with the thottle housing open and your thumb jammed on the throttle cable to hold it on the end of the grip and try to turn it together and still be able to get to the brake lever. I couldn't feel anything in my hand. But it worked!
