I'll try and reseat the cable in the parking lot before I head home from work. As for bending the guide back, I'll try to do that tonight w/o taking the tank off. If I do have to pull the tank and carbs, do you think it can wait till the weekend?
Probably, but I would loosen the slack and get it seated correctly, and throw some lube on the cable,
